About Department
The department of History is one of the most prominent and vibrant department in Washim District. The Department of History had been established in 1984. It has one section of Marathi medium at under graduate level. In the beginning year a 34 students were admitted in B.A part one. Later on the strength began to increase year by year. The total Strength of the department 91 at graduation level. The Department of History is trying its best with increasing the test of the students & providing the new updated knowledge of subject to the students. The department aims to train students in different domains of History, it also helps them to develop skills for teaching and research in History The learned Faculty members of the department strive hard to bridge gap between the university curriculum and market requirements by providing them employment oriented knowledge and skill based training.
